SHADOWS & CITYSCAPES
This photos series is comprised of photos from travels to cities around the world, focussing immediately on Italy and Chicago where these preliminary photos were taken. This ongoing series captures the magic of cities but also their dark sides and their lonely nature.
BARRIO Titled as a statement on an Americans relationship with living in overseas and the complex emotions that go along with that, this series of photos from three years living in London documents various people and places around the city. This series was shown at Transistor Gallery in Chicago in August of 2013.
Capturing the Promised Land This series focuses on capturing the landscape around the country of Jordan, influenced by many civilisations including the Romans, Byzantines, Ottomans, Arabs and more. The series captures both the city as well as the natural landscape around the country on travels in April of 2022.
PORTRAITS in FiLM
The portraits here document both important people in life in addition to capturing strangers in their day to day life. Forever a fan of situational photography, capturing people in their element, none of these photos were staged nor do they impart any bias from photographer to subject, working to capture people as they are, in their natural element.
